CALGARY, Alberta – ATCO Noise Management Ltd. has acquired all the assets of Higgott-Kane Industrial Noise Controls Ltd., a North American market leader in the supply of custom engineered silencing systems to power and process industries. Financial terms were not released.
Founded in 1977, the Cambridge, Ontario based company has supplied thousands of its turbine silencing packages to projects worldwide. With approximately 25 employees, it will retain its well-known name and continue operations in Cambridge as a division of ATCO Noise Management. “Higgott-Kane is a premier brand in turbine silencing, famous for its innovation and customer service,” said Boris Rassin, President, ATCO Noise Management. “Higgott-Kane’s expertise in inlet and exhaust systems for large turbines and proprietary turbine anti-icing systems are unsurpassed in performance and design.” Mr. Rassin said ATCO’s world renowned proprietary noise absorptive wall systems for buildings and enclosures in combination with Higgott-Kane’s expertise and unique turbine technologies will significantly increase capacity to provide all-inclusive industry-leading noise silencing solutions for new and retrofit projects.
